Bulkwinkels

We found another lovely store in Jette and we wanted to share it with you! Bio Sens Jette is really close to the last weeks store and is also quite different. They offer a lot of zero waste products, but focus on seasonal and local ingredients! They also have a lot of meat alternatives and we personally loved their lentil paté.

Bio Vrac Uccle
We found yet another great eco-friendly store, this one is situated in Uccle, so it might be interesting for those living in the South of Brussels. The store won our hearts because it has a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in bulk (and a picture on the wall showing what vegetables are in season), as well as great coffee and a large number of dry products like pasta in all shapes and sizes!

Eatik is one of our personal favourites! This store allows you to buy almost all of your products without producing waste. The manager is not only very kind, but he will listen to your needs and requirements. They sell coffee and tea in bulk and (get ready for this one) allow you to make your own chocolate paste! They also provide delicious, low impact meals during weekdays, so you don't always have to cook yourself.

Bio Market at Les Ateliers des Tanneurs
This store is great for all your big purchases, because they are not expensive and sell all the dry foods, fruits and vegetables you need. You can also buy water and juices, oils and honey in glass (that you can return) and during the weekend you can even buy croissants. Right next to this shop, there is an urban farm (where vegetables are grown on the spot) and another store where you can buy reusable or glass household products. It does get crowded during the weekend, so we advice to go during the week.
